war bereits das zweite Mal im IBIS Bastei zu einem Kurztrip. Bin jedesmal nur netten Mitarbeitern begegnet. Die Zimmer sind frisch renoviert und haben gute Betten. Leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Obwohl mitten in der Stadt, sehr ruhig. Parken kann man günstig in der 300m entfernten Centrumsgalerie für 3,50 Euro am Tag. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr groß, am schönsten sind die in den oberen Etagen.

Although guides tend to refer only to the Ibis Bastei, there are in fact three Ibis hotels all in a row on the main thoroughfair from Dresden main station to the city centre. I have no reason to believe that the three are anything but comparable. The Bastei was fairly functional, but comfortable and good value. Its location was a particular attraction - only ten minutes walk from the historic centre. Its tv service also offered BBC News 24, as well as the awful and ubiquitous CNN.

This is a super clean and nicely renovated IBIS. The breakfast buffet is the best, but not cheap at 10 euro. The rooms are bigger then some IBIS I have stayed at, everything is very clean and in a great location. So I suggest if you go stay in any of the other IBIS that are right there as well.
